How we create, review, and update content on AutoCalcHub.

Last reviewed: July 2026 by the AutoCalcHub Team

Who Writes Our Content

Content on AutoCalcHub is produced and maintained by the AutoCalcHub Team rather than a single named author. We're a small, independent site — we believe that's a reasonable and honest way to represent our size, rather than presenting a single writer as the voice of every calculator and guide on the site. What matters more to us than a byline is that every formula is checked against industry-standard methodology and every statistic is sourced (see our methodology page for exactly how each calculator works and where our data comes from).

How We Decide What to Publish

We prioritize topics based on genuine utility to people making car-related financial decisions — loan math, affordability, ownership costs, depreciation, and similar practical questions. Before publishing anything new, we check it against our existing content to avoid duplicating a topic we've already covered, and we verify that the underlying numbers or formulas are accurate before the page goes live.

How We Handle Updates and Corrections

Interest rates, depreciation trends, and fuel prices change over time, which means static content can go stale. Pages that reference specific rates, dollar figures, or market averages are periodically reviewed and refreshed — you'll see a "last updated" date on every article and tool reflecting when it was last checked. If you notice an error or outdated figure, you can reach us through our contact page and we'll review it.

Advertising & Editorial Independence

AutoCalcHub is supported by display advertising (Google AdSense). Advertising does not influence which calculators we build, what our content says, or how our formulas work. We don't accept payment for placement within articles, we don't write sponsored reviews, and we don't adjust any calculator's math to favor a particular lender, insurer, or product. Ads are visually separated from editorial content and clearly distinguishable as advertising.

Affiliate Relationships

AutoCalcHub does not currently participate in affiliate marketing or receive referral commissions from lenders, insurers, or dealerships. If this changes in the future, we will disclose it clearly on this page and within any relevant content.

Corrections

If we publish something that turns out to be inaccurate, we correct it as soon as we're aware — either by updating the figure with a refreshed "last updated" date, or by removing the claim if it can't be verified. We don't silently edit factual claims without updating the associated date stamp.
