Compact cars: 30โ40 MPG. Mid-size sedans: 25โ35 MPG. SUVs: 20โ28 MPG. Pickup trucks: 18โ24 MPG. Hybrids: 45โ60 MPG. EVs: equivalent of 90โ130 MPGe.
EPA estimates are tested under controlled conditions. Real-world MPG is affected by driving style, speed, AC use, terrain, tire pressure, and weather. Most drivers get 10โ20% less than the EPA rating.
